Just got back from NAB in Las Vegas.
Watch out kids, I'm that much more dangerous now. AE CS3 + Photoshop CS3 + Final Cut Studio 2 = some of the best upgrades in the history of the programs. Now that I'm cracking my knuckles over Expressions.. anything is possible.
10.10.06 - Busy year
2006 Has been such a busy year, I haven't gotten around to updating the website at all. Look for a redesign in 2007 with all new content and, of course, a new look. jeesh, designers...
05.19.06 - Dropkick Murphys - Avalon, Boston
Is there anything more BOSTON than the Dropkick Murphys on St Patty's Day? I think not! The Dropkicks blew the roof off the place and Exit23 was there to film it all. A few songs are up on the Dropkicks site. Enjoy. I know we did.
07.07.05 - The Bravery - Roxy, Boston
Tonight we took a 5 camera and 2 audio setup crew to the Roxy in Boston to film the Bravery. The band played an excellent set and the early footage looks great.
06.20.05 - I'm a company man
Stacy and John of Exit23 Productions have asked me to be an official part of Exit23. As of today, I am part owner in Exit23 Productions. This is a great day in Rock and Roll & business history for me. I can now say I have my first business and I'm back doing the work I love. Working with bands again is going to be great and the Exit23 folks are sincerely great people.

02.12.05 - iFilm: Votes Counted
Samantha over at iFilm was kind enough to fill us in on the Yellowcard results. Turns out our little frogs will not be infiltrating MTV. No worries though! Thanks to all the support and the emails. I'll put a copy of it on the site soon, until then, if you want to see it hop on over here .
12.14.04 - Vote NOW at iFilm
The polls are open! Vote early and vote often. The video looks great! We did an animation piece with Diana Murphy at the brush for the watercolor look. The story takes place in a biology classroom and takes on the tough topic of dissection. Teen Punk + dissection plotline = TRL hit right? The entries are listed by filmmaker so go here: scroll down about halfway to "JEREMY LASSETTER" to view our music video and vote. There's a long list of entries so every vote counts! 11.24.04 - iFilm HP Yellowcard Contest Announced
The folks over at iFilm and Hewlett Packard have announced a music video contest for the band Yellowcard. You may have seen Yellowcard recently on the MTV Music Video awards.. (along with the Polyphonic Spree) We're giving the contest world another go, more details when they come.
09.30.04 - Contest Mini-Site Launched
Well, the verdict is in and the band chose the other video. After a call from Tim DeLaughter though, we know that our video was in the top two and future surprises may be in order.
08.01.04 - A Wrap
We sent our submission by the due date and we are anxiously awaiting word back from the band. Special Thanks to Diana Murphy and Kris Hatch for their involvement in the video.
07.14.04 - Polyphonic Spree Contest Announced
NME.com announced that the Polyphonic Spree is holding a video contest to make their debut video for the forthcoming album, "Together We're Heavy". The fan created video will be for their first single, "Hold Me Now."

02.03.04 - New Full Time Job
I've just accepted a full time position at a company in Bedford, MA. I will be running a small video and animation studio at an in house facility for a fortune 100 company. Video Programs include extensive documentary work, DVD production and motion graphic design.
12.02.03 - New Site Launched
I've moved the site from a previous address and gave it a different look. You may or may not recognize the new design. All the penguins are from an animated short I made called, "Wish You Were Here". Cute, aren't they?
11.21.03 - "Pie in the Sky" wins 48 Hour Film Festival
Boston. "Pie in the Sky", the 48 Hour Film Festival entry by the Dead Pixels team, came up as big winners at the Boston area awards. They took home Audience Favorite, Best Screenplay and Best in Boston! The Boston Area winner will be screened in Austin, Texas at the South By Southwest (SXSW) music festival in March. 10.12.2003 - 48 Hour Film Complete!
This weekend we took part in the 48 Hour Film Festival in Boston. It is an independent film competition where teams have a 48 hour time limit to create a 10 minute short. It takes place on different weekends all over the country and we heard about 20 teams competed in the Boston round. We are all totally exhausted, but relieved and excited. 09.15.03 - New Client: VPG
I am now officially in education. VPG, Boston's best production house for educational content, has a new mathematics editor. This contract involves Editing and Directing instructional/tutorial math videos that will be packaged with future Brooks Cole/Thomson Learning published releases.
